Q. Do any of your products contain lactose?
A. All of our products are lactose free and many are based on traditional sucrose pellets and tablets that allow for proper absorption when taken sublingually. In the case of our children's products, this is also a benefit for children with lactose digestive complications and mothers who are trying to limit their intake of lactose based products.
Q. At what age can I begin giving your products to my child?
A. Our products are safe and effective to be used at the first signs of teething, such as drooling, redness in the gum area, and irritability, all the way through the entire process. Teething in children usually begins as early as three months of age to as late as twelve. While there is no consistent pattern among all children, the lower front teeth (incisors) are usually the first to appear followed by the upper front within a couple of months.
Q. Do your products have side effects?
A. Homeopathic remedies work together with your body to help encourage it to return to a natural state of balance and health. Their active ingredients are in high dilutions making them virtually non-toxic plus there is no risk of addiction or build up of tolerance even with long term use.
As with all medicines however you should contact your health care provider if symptoms continue unimproved for more than 5 days, and should keep out of the reach of children.
Q. Can I use your products in conjunction with other medicines?
A. Homeopathic remedies are not known to interfere with allopathic medications and are therefore considered to have no contraindications. However, if you are considering using our remedies with other medications, you should contact your health care provider before doing so.
Q. How do I administer these remedies to my child?
A. For our pellet products, we recommend crushing the pellet in a spoon, then dissolving in a ½ teaspoon of water before giving to your child. Also, try not to handle the pellets. Pour the desired amount into the cap or spoon then administer as directed.
Q. Are any of your products tested on animals?
A. No, we do not test our products on animals. At Humphreys Pharmacal animal testing is against our company philosophy. We produce the gentlest products from the finest botanical ingredients available.
Q. Do you use any harsh preservatives such as parabens in your products?
A. No, we are sensitive about the ingredients we use. All of our products are 100% Natural. They contain no artificial colors or harsh preservatives such as parabens.
Q. Some of your remedies contain cornstarch. Do you use non-GMO cornstarch?
